In the book, the author analyzes some new Anglo-Norman and Latin texts emerging from the Norman Conquest to the late 12th century, and explores the development and formation of England’s national character after the Norman Conquest, putting forward some new ideas and creating quite a few Sexual point of view, reflecting the author’s exploration of the spirit and academic skills. However, she believes that the formation of the English nation in the 1270s is still open to question.
