毛泽东的群众观构成了作为毛泽东思想活的灵魂的三个基本方面之一——群众路线的基本内容,它的基本观点可以概括为一切为了群众、一切依靠群众、从群众中来到群众中去三个方面。在新时期里,它仍然是指导我们取得革命和建设胜利的重要思想之一。我们党以它为指导,提出了一系列新观点:党要始终代表中国最广大人民的根本利益,不断增强党在全社会的影响力和凝聚力,坚持和健全民主集中制,等等。继承和发展毛泽东的群众观对于我们党搞好自身建设、带领全国人民实现现代化建设的目标有着重要的指导意义。
Mao Zedong’s mass view constitutes one of the three basic aspects of the living soul of Mao Zedong Thought - the basic content of the mass line. Its basic viewpoints can be summed up as follows: For the masses, all depends on the masses, from the masses to the masses three aspects. In the new period, it is still one of the important ideas guiding us in the victory of revolution and construction. With our guidance, our party has put forward a series of new ideas: the party must always represent the fundamental interests of the overwhelming majority of the Chinese people, continuously enhance the party’s influence and cohesion in the whole society, uphold and improve its democratic centralism, and so on. Inheriting and developing Mao Zedong’s viewpoint on the masses has an important guiding significance for our party’s goal of improving itself and leading the people across the country in its modernization drive.
