叶顒是元末一位奇特的诗人。他虽然出生于元代理学渊薮的浙江金华,但他与元代绝大多数诗人都是理学家或受理学影响很深的文学家不同,他的诗很少濡染理学气息。他一不是官场人物,一生普通教职也没出任过;也不是奔走于官场的食客、说客,他的诗没有迂腐的官场气。他一生为诗,以“独唱”自处,因此生平及创作隐晦不彰。时同乡稍后及吴县又有同姓名而事迹可称述者,后人往往识之不清,甚者张冠李戴。拂去六百年历史尘封,还诗人本来面目,极有必要。
Yeh is a strange poet late Yuan Dynasty. Although he was born in Jinhua, Zhejiang province, where he was deeply rooted in the Yuan Dynasty, he is different from most of the poets in the Yuan Dynasty who were either philosophers or scholars with profound influence in accepting studies. His poems seldom touched the atmosphere of science. He is not an official figure, his life as an ordinary teacher has not served as; is not running in the official diners, lobbyists, his poetry no bureaucratic atmosphere. His life as poetry, with “solo ” from the place, so life and creative vagueness. Later, when the same clan and Wuxian have the same name and deeds can be described, often undefined knowledge of future generations, even Zhang Guanghui.
