The International Institute for Management Development in Lausanne, Switzerland, recently released the Yearbook of World Competitiveness. China’s comprehensive technological competitiveness dropped from 22nd to 31st. The scientific and technological competitiveness of Hong Kong and Taiwan in China also dropped dramatically. Although there is one opinion that this scale only includes labor costs, R & D investment, education and social values, it does not reflect the true competitiveness of science and technology.
