阿马颜是缅甸曼德勒市巴东族的一个普通青年,巴东族聚居处是一个比较封闭和落后的地区,那里除了大片的藕湖之外,几乎就再也没有什么了,一年到头,他们吃得最多的就是藕。阿马颜看着辛勤劳作却所获不多的父母和族人们,发誓要用智慧去改变自己的命运。俗话说,靠山吃山,靠水吃水,在这片除了莲藕还是莲藕的湿地里,阿马颜唯一能够依靠的就是莲藕。他试尽了各种方法,先后开发出了一些诸如“即食藕条”、“水冲藕粉”的商品,但在这个到处都是藕的国家,任凭他把藕食品加工得如何美味,总是很难得到市场的认可,阿马颜只能无奈地放弃了。
