笔者于1979年夏参加铁道部派遣的考察组,赴南斯拉夫进行了为期21天的考察访问。考察中参观了正在施工中的克拉克钢筋混凝土拱桥(主跨390米)。在考察中我们看到,南斯拉夫国家虽不大,人民志气可不小。自第二次世界大战后获得解放以来,他们在桥梁建设方面的成就是十分巨大的,不论是公路桥梁或铁路桥梁都达到了相当高的水平。他们的技术经验和桥梁工作者善于吸收外国先进经验、勇于创新和敢于实践的精神,都是值得学习借鉴的。
In the summer of 1979, I joined the inspection team dispatched by the Ministry of Railways and went to Yugoslavia for a 21-day study tour. During the inspection, the Clarke reinforced concrete arch bridge under construction (390 meters main span) was visited. During the inspection, we can see that although the Yugoslav countries are not big, the people’s aspirations are not small. Since the liberation after World War II, their achievements in bridge construction have been enormous. Both highway bridges and railway bridges have reached a fairly high level. Their technical experience and bridge workers’ good ability to absorb advanced foreign experience, their courage to innovate and their courage to practice are all worth learning from.
