西北工业大学强度研究所是专门从事飞机结构和其它结构应力分析、寿命估算、断裂特性研究、动态品质分析和结构损伤容限、耐久性及可靠性研究的机构,它所属的强度实验室具有雄厚的实力,可进行上述领域的各种试验研究.强度实验室现有专职高级技术人员五人,中级技术人员七人,初级和其它人员多人.分为静力、疲劳断裂、动态特性研究、摆振落震、激光全息和仪器设备等
