本文结合情景语境理论,通过案例分析,探讨公示语汉英翻译中的情景语境。语场决定了公示语译文要符合目的语公示语的语言规范。在考虑语旨时,译者应充分考虑目的语读者的语言和文化背景,使其译文被目的语读者所接受。译者还要充分发挥语式的补充作用,做到译文图文并茂。
Based on the contextual context theory, this article explores the situational context of the public signs in Chinese-English translation through case studies. Field determines the language of publicity language to be consistent with the target language language specification. When considering the language, the translator should give full consideration to the language and cultural background of the target language reader so that the target language is accepted by the target language readers. The translator must also give full play to the supplementary role of the language and accomplish the translation illustrated.
