煤——油混合燃料、COM的制作 美国COMCO公司是美国煤公司与佛罗星达电力公司的联号,他们宣称解决了在油悬浮液中消除油的沉淀倾向这一重大问题。常规工艺是靠使用化学添加剂或连续不断搅拌的方法使煤不发生沉淀。而COMCO公司的方法是把煤研成与滑石粉相类似的极细颗粒,使煤自然在油中悬浮。这样不但减少了燃料对阀门与管道的磨蚀,还使燃料更充分燃烧。COMCO使用6号燃油与塔基短焰煤(锅炉用煤)混合。这种煤的最高含硫量为1.5％,含灰分12％。6号燃油含硫为2.5％。
Coal-to-Fuel, COM’s Production COMCO, a joint venture of U.S. coal companies and Florida Star Power Co., claims to have solved the major issue of eliminating the tendency of oil to precipitate in oil suspensions. Conventional technology is to rely on the use of chemical additives or continuous mixing method so that coal does not precipitate. The COMCO company’s method is to study the coal into very fine particles similar to talc, so that coal is naturally suspended in the oil. This not only reduces the fuel on the valve and pipe erosion, but also make the fuel more fully burn. COMCO uses a combination of No.6 fuel and Taki flame coal (boiler coal). This coal has a maximum sulfur content of 1.5% and ash content of 12%. No.6 fuel sulfur content of 2.5%.
