中学教学的目的是通过教学向学生传授知识、发展智力、提高素质、培养能力。随着现代科技的迅速发展,数学知识、数学思想已渗透到社会、科技的各个领域。在素质教育的今天,中学数学教育在传授必要的数学知识、技能的同时,还必须注重数学思想的培养,促进学生良好思维品质与创新意识的形成和发展,使之具备提出、发现及解决数学问题的创造能力。笔者在课堂教学中围绕这个问题作了一些初步的尝试。
