当代艺术在中国语境下,主要以反衬新中国晓立以来的宏大叙事或集体意识的日常和个体形式呈现。而时值渐入21世纪中叶的今天,上述中提及的旧体系依然面临着进一步的打破,于是,更新一波年轻艺术家的出现,便给这样的改变契机带来了可能。此次名为微镜的展览,顾名思义,便是以与“宏大”对立的“细微”作镜,持续反观今日中国的当代艺术进程。狮语画廊此次展览由著名策展入黄笃策划,展览集中展示了五位(文倵、任芷田、李易纹、林科、胡为一)年龄跨度从近70-90年代后出生的、近来在各自艺术领域颇有建树和影响的五位艺术家的代表性作品。他们不仅有着强大的个入语言特色叙事能力,亦具备对不断颠覆固有艺术创作形式的关照。
Under the Chinese context, contemporary art is mainly presented in daily and individual forms that reflect the grand narrative or collective consciousness of New China. However, as time goes on in the middle of the 21st century, the old system mentioned in the above still faces further breakups. Therefore, the emergence of a new wave of young artists opens the possibility for such a turning point. The exhibition titled Microtoscope, as the name implies, uses “subtleties” as its antithesis to “grandiose” to continuously reflect on the contemporary art process in China today. Lions Gallery The exhibition was curated by renowned curator Huang T’u-chu. The exhibition featured five age groups (Wen 倵, Ren Zhi Tian, Li Yiwen, Lin Ke and Hu Weiyi) who were born after the 1970s and 1990s. The representative works of five artists who have recently achieved considerable success and influence in their own fields of art. Not only do they have a powerful ability to narrate narrative texts, they also have the opportunity to continuously subvert the forms of artistic creation.
