Chinese Academy of Sciences, the State Languages Commission and the National Science and Technology Terminology Accreditation Board held a press conference on May 9, 2017 in Beijing to officially release the Chinese names 113, 115, 117 and 118 chemical elements. Their Chinese pronunciation is respectively “nǐ”, “mò”, “tián”, “ào”. Most of these four elements were discovered by scientists after 2002-2003.
