10月9日,《皇姑区高标准抓好现代化档案馆建设》工作信息在中共沈阳市委办公厅刊物《沈阳信息》上刊发,中共沈阳市委常委、秘书长马占春就该信息做出批示。《沈阳信息》(189)报道:为彻底改变原档案馆功能设置单一、设施陈旧落后的现状,皇姑区坚持以“走向依法管理、走向开放、走向现代化”为档案工作目标,着力提升档案硬件设施水平,加快推进新建现代化档案馆建设进程。根据规划,新建的区档案馆总建筑面积5500平方米,总投资近2000万元,目前正加紧进行基建工程建设,预计2016年6月建成并投入使用。建成后,将具备党和国家重要档案保管基地、爱国主义教育基地、档案利用中心、政府公开信息查阅
