智能食物标签我们时常会兴致勃勃地从超市里采购大批食物回家,然而,它们中的一部分总难免因超过保质期而被丢弃。这种过于迷信保质期的做法其实造成了大量的浪费,因为有些食物即使过了保质期,也可能离变质还有一段时间。一项贴近生活的小发明将改变这种浪费食物的现象。研究者们将一个能改变形状的标签贴在食物容器上,一开始,它是完全光滑的,随着食物保质期临近,尤其是当食物开始腐烂的时候,这个标签会逐渐变得凹凸不平。这种方式是不是比打印上去的保质期更科学也更精确呢?
Smart Food Labels We often go home happily to buy large quantities of food from supermarkets, however, some of them are always discarded because they have expired. This overly superstitious shelf-life practice has caused a lot of waste, because some foods may leave the metamorphosis for some time even after the expiration date. A small invention close to life will change this phenomenon of food waste. Researchers put a shape-changing label on a food container, initially it is completely smooth, and the label gradually becomes asymptotical as the shelf life of food approaches, especially as the food begins to decay. Is this way more scientific and more accurate than the shelf life of the printed product?
