管道的连接方式,至今仍采用法兰式、丝扣式,承插式、套接式和焊接式的方法。这些连接方法,在管道接缝处所使用的材料不但很贵,而且由于接缝处结合的不牢,很容易发生漏水问题。另外还有因采取焊接的方法,也会在焊接部位发生氧化而腐蚀的问题。为了解决以上二个问题,竹入建筑公司采用美国 N_AS_A(宇航局)新技术,在大午町中心大厦工程中,对加压水系统的不锈钢管道上使用 N_AS_A 自动焊接机。将 N_AS_A 自动焊接机应用在建筑业中,在建筑史上是个创举。
