Objective To investigate the clinical significance of combined treatment of CGMS and CSII, ie, double “C” treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus. Methods Sixty patients were randomly divided into two groups: “C” group and CSII control group. The “C” group was given 72 hours of ambulatory blood glucose monitoring. The CSII group was monitored by fingertip blood glucose. Blood sugar, hypoglycemic cases, blood glucose compliance required number of days and daily insulin dosage. Results (1) The mean blood glucose of the two groups was significantly lower than that before treatment, and the double “C” group was more obvious. (2) Double “C ” group found that the number of hypoglycemia increased more than CSII group. (3) Double “C ” group blood glucose compliance days shorter than the CSII group, and daily insulin dosage less. Conclusion Double “C ” treatment is an ideal means to achieve good blood sugar in diabetic patients.
