“新农村建设要强调农民的非物质福利”,如果我们在这一点上达成共识,那么农村文化建设的重大意义就会不言自明。在农村将长期保持“温饱有余,小康不足”生活的现实情况下,我们要使农民感到村庄生活有意义,增强他们对村庄生活的预期,使他们在村庄过体面的生活。这不仅有利于农村的稳定和相对繁荣,还会为国家的现代化建设赢得操作空间和宝贵的时间。在荆门官桥历时一周的调查,我们深深的感受到了农村文化建设对村庄的影响和改造。虽然它可能并不完全符合当初的预期,但是它的蹒跚前行的确让人感觉到了农村文化建设的意义和些许希望。从其在乡土社会本身的遭遇和境况出发,我们作了一些关于村庄文化建设的思考,这些可能同时对“新农村建设”的实践也非常有意义。
“The new rural construction should emphasize the immaterial welfare of peasants.” If we reach an agreement on this point, then the great significance of rural cultural construction will be self-evident. Under the reality that the rural areas will have a long-term “adequate and well-to-do” life, we should make farmers feel that village life is meaningful, enhance their expectations of village life and make them live decent lives in the villages. This will not only be conducive to the stability and relative prosperity of the rural areas, but will also gain operational space and valuable time for the country’s modernization drive. During a week-long survey of Jingmen Guanqiao, we deeply felt the influence and transformation of rural cultural construction on villages. Although it may not fully meet the original expectations, its faltering predecessors indeed make people feel the significance of rural cultural construction and a little hope. Based on the experience and situation of the native society itself, we made some reflections on the village culture construction, which may also be of great significance to the practice of “new rural construction” at the same time.
