This article describes selected microorganisms used in Para-Bac, a commercial microbial product, for their ability to survive and reproduce in an anaerobic environment containing petroleum paraffins. In a strictly oxygen-free and redox potential environment of 200 mV or lower, the product exhibits a transport of several 4-fold more than in 24 hours in a chemical medium of crude oil or n-hexadecane or n-octadecane as the sole carbon source Fold, these items come together to create biosurfactant-like activities. This article describes the ability to jointly reduce viscosity and interfacial tension in a variety of different crude oils under anaerobic conditions. These properties are closely related to the results obtained in field examples.
