1973年石明松在晚粳农垦58田中发现不育株,经10多年的研究,1985年正式命名为湖北光周期敏感雄性不育水稻,1986年列入“七五”攻关课题,1987年列入国家863生物高技术计划;1988年列入国家自然科学基金重大项目。 1 湖北光周期敏感雄性核不育水稻农垦58的基本特性 1.1 在14小时以上长日照下诱导不育,少于14小时短日照时可育。日照长度是诱导光敏核不育水稻农垦58S育性转换的主导因素,育性转换的敏感期是幼穗发育的第二次枝梗原基分化期至花粉母细胞形成期,光敏核不育系既是不育系又是保持系,可一系两用。
