本文报道作者在美国密执安大学医学院进修期间,应用凝胶过滤、亲和力色谱、反相高效液相色谱(RP-HPLC)和放射免疫测定等技术,对具有高胰岛素血症的糖尿病病人进行胰岛素的提取、纯化和分析工作,结果在一个家族中发现父子3人,胰岛素与正常人不同,提示是一种常染色体遗传性胰岛素病,因胰岛素结构变异使生物活性下降而产生糖尿病。本文对胰岛素结构与功能的关系进行了讨论。
