Recently， Chinese researchers have developed new test strips that can test blood type within 1 munite， and the results have been published in the "Science of Science in Science" magazine.
　　The technology was developed by Director Yang LUO’s team of the Third Military Medical University Southwest Hospital Center Laboratory. The test paper contains a special dye， which when meeting blood， according to different roles of antibodies of different blood types， can show brown and blue and green， and then by comparing find the blood type of the sample blood. This process takes about 30 seconds， and can distinguish the rare Rh blood type. The traditional method of identification of blood type is through the centrifuge separation of blood for laboratory analysis， taking about half an hour to several hours. The research team believes that this technology is suitable for being used in the battlefield environment， and is also suitable for limited use of resources.
