The importance of food has never changed, but our relationship with food is changing year by year. Scientists from all over the world have never stopped exploring the sources and preservation of food. In 1869, the chemist Mullis invented margarine, an alternative to butter that was easier to preserve - Napoleon III personally presented him with prizes. In 1908, a Japanese scientist invented MSG, from which food became more delicious. In 1937, Spam luncheon meat came out, annual sales of Britain alone reached 6 billion cans, with nitrite and food easier to be preserved. 1971, bowl of instant noodles in Japan was born, then was introduced into other countries. As technology advances, the focus of exploration is moving from simple ”chemistry."
