公共危机期间,新闻媒体在传递信息、舆论引导、协调社会关系、维护社会和谐稳定等方面发挥了积极作用,媒介社会功能得以扩展。然而,在看到积极作用的同时,我们也不能忽视媒体公共危机报道中所存在的功能缺失问题。本文采用内容分析方法,通过比较《人民日报》与《纽约时报》对本国公共危机的图片报道的内容,归纳和审视这两份报纸履行公共危机报道职能的异同点,并从政治学的视角加以分析,探讨进一步扩展我国新闻媒体公共危机报道职能的途径。
During the public crisis, the news media played an active role in transmitting information, guiding public opinion, coordinating social relations and maintaining social harmony and stability. The media’s social functions were expanded. However, while we see the positive effects, we can not ignore the lack of function that exists in media coverage of public crises. This article uses the method of content analysis to compare and review the similarities and differences between the two newspapers in fulfilling the function of public crisis reporting by comparing the contents of the picture coverage of the public crisis in People’s Daily and New York Times and from the perspective of political science Analyze and explore ways to further expand the reporting function of public crisis in China’s news media.
