The Sub-Institute of Public Safety Standardization of CNIS undertakes “the pilot project on international standards for sustainable development of small and medium-sized cities” supported by China Prosperity Strategic Programme Fund (SPF) under the China-UK standardization cooperation framework. The project was officially launched in October 2020 and was expected to be completed by the end of 2021. A series of international standards on urban sustainable development have been implemented in four pilot cities in China.
