我国幅员辽阔,人口众多,汉语分布地域广,使用人口多,方言现象比较复杂。我国有七大方言,各方言都有其独特的语言特点,语音方面的差别尤大。语音是语言的三要素之一,是语言的物质外壳,由于它的特殊地位和作用,对社会、对民俗、对语言文字都有一定的影响。各方言的语音不同,所产生的影响也就不尽相同,方言的地域性决定了它所产生的影响的地域性。
