In order to evaluate the functional changes of the auditory pathway in patients with uremia, this paper studied the changes of brainstem response in hemodialysis patients. Thirteen patients with long-term hemodialysis were selected. The ratio of men to women was 9: 4, with an average age of 45 ± 13.7 years (range, 21-61 years). Mean hemodialysis time: 46.8 ± 43.4 months (range, 1-96 months). Hemodialysis three times a week, every 4 hours. The results showed that the latency of Ⅲ wave and Ⅴ wave and the Ⅰ ~ Ⅴ interval were significantly longer than those of the normal control group (P <0.05).
