金塔县鼎新镇位于金塔县东北部,40°20′N,99°45′E,地处黑河中下游,距金塔县城76公里。鼎新原名毛目,因弱水流经其境,与古羌谷水交汇于此,田园村庄沿岸分布,犹如人之眉目而得名。自清雍正十三年始设毛目城(又称高台分县)为止,此前的正史及其他著作中均未提及,仅民国张维著有《鼎新志县志》。而目前学界亦未有对鼎新县的完整研究。本文在张维《鼎新志县志》的基础上对鼎新县所属区域进行探讨。
Quinta Dingding town is located in the northeast of Quinta County, 40 ° 20’N, 99 ° 45’E, located in the middle and lower reaches of the Heihe River, 76 km from the town of Quinta. Dingxin formerly known as the gross head, because weak water flows through its territory, and the ancient Qiang Valley water intersection here, rural villages along the distribution, as if the name of the eyebrows. Since the Qing Emperor Yongzheng set up 13 years Mao City (also known as Gaotai sub-county) so far, no previous history and other writings are mentioned, only the Republic of Zhang Wei was “Ding Xinzhi County.” At present, there is no complete study on Dingxin County. This article explores the area of Dingxin County on the basis of Zhang Wei’s “Ding Xin Zhi County”.
