在我校建校七十周年的日子里,由副校长、中国科学院学部委员高尚荫教授主持的《生命科学在前进学术报告会》于十一月十五日至十七日,在武汉大学举行。报告会特邀了我国著名学者,中国科学院学部委员汤佩松,邹承鲁、沈善炯、纽经义等四位教授,分别就生命科学问题作了题为“从国际植物学谈我国植物学发展方向”、“生物大分子构象研究的一些进展”、“固氮基因调节的分子机理”、“生命科学中的多肽”等报告。高尚荫教授作了“对生命的了解”的专题报告。
On the seventieth anniversary of the founding of our school, Vice President and Academician Gao Shangyan, a member of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, chaired the “Life Science Advancement Symposium” to be held at Wuhan University from November 15 to November 17 . The report invited four famous Chinese scholars, members of the Chinese Academy of Sciences Tang Weisong, Zou Chenglu, Shen Shanjiong, New York University, four professors were on life science issues entitled “From the International Botany on the direction of development of botany in China Some Advances in the Study of the Conformation of Biological Macromolecules ”,“ Molecular Mechanism of Regulation of Nitrogen-fixing Genes ”,“ Peptides in Life Science ”and other reports. Professor Gao Shangyin made a special report on “Understanding of Life”.
