面临由大学基础英语向专业英语过渡这一迫切任务的医学院校学生需要积极适当的鼓励、引导和帮助 ,其中包括精心设计的教材和行之有效的教学方法。本文简要介绍按照将医学和英语有机结合的原则所编写的《新世纪医学英语教程》上册 [生物医学 ]和下册 [社会医学 ],同时 ,阐述在课堂上强调注重输出阅读的新教学思想 ,以期在全国外语界提高外语教学质量和效果的努力中取得突破。 Faculty members of medical schools facing the urgent task of transition from basic English to professional English need to be appropriately encouraged, guided and assisted, including well-designed textbooks and effective teaching methods. This article briefly introduces the book “Biomedical Science” and “Social Medicine” in “New Century Medical English Course” written in accordance with the principle of combining medicine and English organically. At the same time, it expounds the new teaching thought emphasizing on output reading in the classroom, With a view to making breakthroughs in efforts made by the foreign language community to improve the quality and effectiveness of foreign language teaching.
