中国电影金鸡奖自1981年创办以来本着学术、争鸣、民主的评奖宗旨赢得了业界的掌声。金鸡奖奖杯为铜质镀金金鸡,以金鸡啼晓并鼓励电影工作者闻鸡起舞。奖杯为一尊引颈高唱的金鸡。2016年9月25日,第25届中国金鸡百花电影节在唐山举办,中国电影金鸡奖终身成就电影艺术家被谢芳、陶玉玲、葛存壮、梁信摘得。颁奖现场,除了手捧金鸡奖杯,还获得了中国陶瓷设计艺术大师、中国陶瓷艺术大师王一君先生特绘《吉语通福》公鸡艺术瓷盘。影视艺术与绘画艺术共享此盛事。
