语言是文化交流的一个重要方面,是文化的重要载体;而文化又赋予了语言最为基本的内涵。这说明了文化和语言之间有着密不可分的关系。文化解析下的英语教学,即主要以英语教学中出现的一些名词的文化解析作为切入点,通过解析这些词语背后的文化内涵,来提高英语学习者的用词准确性。同时,也为英语教育者提供一种教学的思路——在教学英语单词的过程中,不仅仅是局限于单词的字面意思,而是有意地引导学生深入学习单词背后所蕴含文化背景知识。文化解析下的英语教学使学生充分地认识和了解中西文化的差异所在,为英语学习者学好英语提供了一种学习策略——他们在学习英语这门课程的过程中,会自觉地深入了解每个词后面所隐含的文化内涵,从而避免因局限于单词的字面意思而造成不能对单词、短语以及俗语的准确地使用。
