This year marks the 16th anniversary of the death of George Sadul, a famous French film historian (1904-1967). In honor of the world renowned film scholar, the China Film Association invited Mrs. Sadul, the head of the French film Sadul Award Jury Ruth Sadul and her daughter, the chief editor of the French newspaper Le Monde , Director of the French Film Archive, and Yvonne Barbie, Cannes Film Festival jury this year, visited China at the end of March this year and held a tribute to Sadul.
