CCITT第七次全体会议于1980年11月在日内瓦举行。以杨泰芳为团长,杨天相、李元鹏,曹梅杰、王玉荣,吴宝璐为代表的中国电信代表团出席了会议。按照电信公约规定和照顾地区的惯例,选举意大利D.GAGUARDI为大会主席,中国杨泰芳和巴西、美国、尼日利亚、苏联为大会副主席。 大会批准了各研究组在末期会议通过的204份新建议和187份修改的建议。 为了避免研究组的重叠,调整了部分研究组的设置和研究内容。将第10与第9研究组合併为第9研究 The seventh CCITT plenary meeting was held in Geneva in November 1980. A delegation from China Telecom represented by Yang Taifang, Yang Tianxiang, Li Yuanpeng, Cao Meijie, Wang Yurong and Wu Baolu attended the meeting. In accordance with the provisions of the Telecommunications Convention and the practice of taking care of the region, Italy D. GAGUARDI was elected as the President of the General Assembly, China Yang Taifang and Brazil, the United States, Nigeria and the Soviet Union as the vice chairmen of the General Assembly.
