黄洋界保卫战胜利纪念碑于1977年10月纪念井冈山革命根据地创建五十周年时重建落成。1965年,井冈山人民曾建造过一座木质的临时性纪念碑。同年夏,毛主席重上井冈山时曾在碑前留影,并同意在附近山岗上建造一座永久性纪念碑;这座碑于1966年落成。但是万恶的林彪反党集团出于篡党夺权的狼子野心,蓄意篡改中国革命历史,竟于1969年悍然将该碑捣毁,另建了一座五角形的“火炬亭”。“四人帮”被粉碎之后,重建了
Huang Yangjie’s Victory Monument was built in October 1977 to mark the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Jinggangshan Revolutionary Base. In 1965, the people of Jinggangshan had built a temporary wooden monument. In the summer of the same year, Chairman Mao photographed the monument in front of the Jinggangshan and agreed to build a permanent monument on a nearby hill; the monument was completed in 1966. However, the wicked Lin Biao anti-Party clique deliberately tampered with the history of the Chinese revolution because of the ambition of the Luangzi who seized the power of the party. In 1969, the Lin Biao smashed the monument and built another pentagonal “torch kiosk.” After the “Gang of Four” was crushed, it was rebuilt.
