宝钢从日本日立造船公司引进的二台板坯连铸机是一机二流,采用了垂直五点弯曲,四点矫直的立弯式机型。年产为400万吨铸坯,工艺上采用了无清理铸坯技术,热送技术等具有80年代先进水平。该连铸机的仪表,计算机系统采用了层次型分级系统结构。即以过程计算机为中心,使上位生产管理计算机系统,仪表设备,电气设备以及各种自动化设备有机地结合起来,形成了能提高过程控制和管理水平并谋求危险分散的综合性系
