现代哲学家冯友兰认为,人生有自然、功利、道德、天地四种境界。而艺术创造中不知其所以然而然,则属于自然境界。当然,艺术中的自然并不是西方哲学意义上的自然。而是一种不加修饰,不加雕琢尚未人化的那种状态,那种境界。师法自然对专业画家而言似乎是极平常的境界。然而“极高明而道中庸”,习焉不察,司空见惯的道理却是一种至理,所谓“百姓日用而不知”。我认为女画家贾世玉笔下的葡萄是对师法自然这一艺术之道最好的诠释。
