现代社会,女性地位提高了,但她们面临的困惑与无奈也更趋向复杂。于是,现代女性在新的困境中对自我追求的执著和对生命的细腻体验也成为现代作家创作的主题。这在莱辛的女性主义小说中便得到了突出反映。本文通过对比莱辛与伍尔夫的女性主义小说,对照莱辛创作早、中、后期三部重要女性题材小说《野草在歌唱》、《金色笔记》、《简.萨默斯的日记》的发展性阅读,考察20世纪英国现代女性对自我身份、自由和爱的追求。通过分析我们发现,莱辛对女性经验的把握是站在一个更高的角度感悟生命的本质,追寻生命的意义,其作品中的理想主义也为现代人追求自我,改善社会提供了一条积极的道路。 In modern society, the status of women has been raised, but their confusion and helplessness are even more complicated. As a result, modern women’s perseverance in pursuit of self-pursuit and delicate experience of life in the new predicament have also become the subject of modern writers’ creation. This has been highlighted in Lessing’s feminist novel. By comparing Lessing ’s and Woolf’ s feminist novels, we compared three major women ’s novels “Weeds in Singing”, “Golden Notes”, “Jane Summers’ Diary” Developing reading, examining the 20th century modern British women’s pursuit of self-identity, freedom and love. Through the analysis we found that Lessing’s grasp of the female experience is to perceive the essence of life and pursue the meaning of life from a higher angle. The idealism in his works also provides a positive for the modern people to pursue themselves and improve the society the way.
