文备的书法是以现代观念为之的。书法的现代观念较注重独立的审美价值、点、线、面以及色调的变化,即较注意令书法图像成为装载人的情感、意志、心灵期待的符号系统。文备找到了适合表达他心理历程的属于他自己的模式。 在艺术构成上,文备使用了诗的“赋、比、兴”手法和情感跳跃手法。《风流总被雨打风吹去》,有冷雨清风的意境,虽小有凄凉意,但襟怀开朗,淡淡的愁绪中夹带着对往昔甜蜜生活的怀念。从中可见诗情主义书法的主旨——用书法造成一种意境来直指人生。在这件作品中,背景上氤氲变化的淡墨点,是对“雨意”的“比”,而这“雨意”给予人的清凉涩畅感,便是这“比”中之“兴”。这是利用视觉直观之图像,来“比兴”艺术主题和艺术境界,从而达到书法的畅人神,快人意的效果。
