当前煤炭、电力等能源十分紧张,国务院要求各地区各部门应引起高度重视并要切实抓好节约能源工作。淘汰能耗高、性能落后的工业锅炉产品是节约能源,促进技术进步,提高社会技术经济效益的重要措施。一九八二年以来,原机械工业部、国家计委和国家工商行政管理局等单位联合发布强制淘汰落后工业锅炉产品和推广节能产品清单共十批,(其中淘汰落后的工业锅炉产品占47种,它占全部机电产品的10％以上,因此全面检查淘汰落后的工业锅炉产品成为我行业的当务之急。)对提高各部门装备水平、降低能耗,提高经济效益取得了一定效果。
