由中国科学院和中国工程院院士编写、中共中央总书记江泽民撰写序言的《院士科普书系》第一辑25本在京正式出版。《院士科普书系》是1998年“两院”院士大会期间组织的一项跨世纪科普出版工程,176位院士和出版社签约撰写175本科普读物。整套丛书充分发挥院士自身优势,定位于普及当代科技最前沿知识,解答21世纪我国经济、社会发展的科技难题,是一套高级科普著作。
Written by the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering, CPC Central Committee General Secretary Jiang Zemin wrote the preface of the “Academy of Sciences,” the first series of 25 copies of the official publication in Beijing. The “Academy of Science Popularization Books” is a cross-century science publishing project organized by the academicians of both houses in 1998 and 176 academicians and publishers signed contracts to write 175 popular books. The series of books give full play to the advantages of academicians and are positioned as science and technology problems in popularizing the most cutting-edge knowledge of contemporary science and technology and solving the economic and social development in our country in the 21st century. It is a set of advanced science books.
