管棚施工技术是洞室施工中处理严重坍塌的破碎带、断层、软弱夹层的有效方法之一。在水电、铁道等工程建设施工中应用广泛。结合管棚技术在丁村坝电站引水隧洞开挖中的应用情况，着重叙述了管棚的施工原理和成孔工艺以及施工中的常见问题。
