转型时期的人民内部矛盾，本质上是一种功利矛盾。价值取向的单向性和物欲化，市场经济行为的非理性化，短期行为以及利益观念向个人倾斜等，是转型时期人民内部功利矛盾的四大表现。人民内部功利矛盾的产生，是我国社会历史发展的必然，对此，须予以正确地认识和处理，以推动社会的繁荣和进步。
The contradictions among the people in the transitional period are essentially utilitarian contradictions. The one-way and materialist of the value orientation, the irrational behavior of the market economy, the short-term behavior and the inclination of the interests to the individual are the four major manifestations of the contradictions in the internal utilitarianism among the people in the transitional period. The emergence of the contradiction between the utilitarian and the people within the people is an inevitable result of the development of our society and history. Therefore, we must correctly understand and handle it in order to promote social prosperity and progress.
