一西宁五中是市属三所重点学校之一。由于连年高考名列前茅,“既然上了,就不能下来”,所以,师生大都在时间上“教学相长”:学生延长学习时间,加大练习量;教师加班加点,对教材细嚼满灌。其结果,升学率是高了,领导、家长、社会也就皆大欢喜。可是,毕业生高分低能,不适应大学学习生活;师生体质严重下降。学生是考场的巨人,操场的矮子;教师住院与病退的增多。精神诚可贵,代价却太高,这种育才法,显然不符合“三个面向”的要求,不加改革是不行了。
One of the five major cities in Xining is one of three key schools. As successive college entrance examination among the best, “since the last, can not be down,” so most of the teachers and students in time “teaching”: students to extend learning time, increase the amount of practice; teachers work overtime, cheat on the teaching materials. As a result, the enrollment rate is high, and leaders, parents and the community are happy too. However, graduates score low energy, not suitable for university study life; a serious decline in the quality of teachers and students. Students are giants of the examination room, playground dwarfs; teachers hospitalization and sickness increased. Sincerity is precious and the price is too high. This method of education and education apparently does not meet the requirements of the “three orientations”. It is unacceptable without reform.
