由江浙沪组成的长三角是中国经济发展最快的区域之一。三地之间的港口洋山港、宁波港和苏州港近期的一系列动作,显示着港口群内部格局正在发生调整,而这一调整,也将促使长三角港口群的实力大增。随着上海国际航运中心的集装箱枢纽港——洋山深水港一期工程开港,使其年吞吐量达300万标箱以上,至此上海港的集装箱吞吐量可望达2100万标箱,接近位居世界排位前两位的香港和新加坡。按照规划,洋山深水港区三期全面建成后,将形成2500万标准集装箱以上港口吞吐能力,成为世界最大规模的集装箱港区之一。浙江省也正式向外宣布“宁波-舟山港”名称自今年1月1日起正式启用。据预测,2020年,宁波-舟山港将发展成为世界特大型港口和现代化的集装箱远洋干线港。有关专家指出,经济快速发展的长三角需要的港口,不是一个单点的港口,而是一个面——一个港口群作支撑。更重要的是,洋山港的建设旨在使上海乃至整个长三角成为东北亚的国际航运中心。而宁波-舟山港的一体化,又将给上海国际航运中心的腾飞插上翅膀。《长江三角洲地区现代化公路水路交通规划纲要》要求形成以上海为中心、浙江宁波港和江苏苏州港及长
The Yangtze River Delta comprising Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai is one of the fastest growing regions in China. A series of recent moves by Yangshan Port, Ningbo Port and Suzhou Port between the three places show that the internal structure of the port group is undergoing adjustments. This adjustment will also boost the strength of the port group in the Yangtze River Delta. With the opening of the first phase of Yangshan Deep-water Port, the container hub port of Shanghai International Shipping Center, its annual throughput will reach over 3 million TEUs. As a result, the container throughput of Shanghai Port is expected to reach 21 million TEUs, Hong Kong and Singapore ranked the top two in the world. According to the plan, after the completion of the third phase of Yangshan Deepwater Port Phase III, it will form a port handling capacity of more than 25 million standard containers and become one of the largest container port areas in the world. Zhejiang Province also formally announced that the name of “Ningbo-Zhoushan Port” was officially put into use on January 1 this year. It is predicted that in 2020, Ningbo-Zhoushan Port will develop into a large-scale port in the world and a modern container ocean port. Experts pointed out that the rapid development of the Yangtze River Delta needs a port, not a single point of the port, but one side - a port group as a support. More importantly, the construction of Yangshan Port aims at making Shanghai and even the entire Yangtze River Delta an international shipping center in Northeast Asia. The integration of Ningbo-Zhoushan Port will give wings to the soaring of Shanghai International Shipping Center.
