一位诗人曾诗赠缅甸归侨杨安琦女士:“万水千山志不移,中华儿女说安琦。异邦人贱悲篱草,祖国春雷醒睡狮。放眼神州情倍好,甘居陋室苦何辞。杨门巾帼多佳话,更喜今时胜旧时。”这是杨安琦几十年来情系桑梓、报效祖国的真实写照。一生爱岗志在盐城侨界,只要谈起杨安琦,人们总会伸出大拇指说:“好样的,不愧是我们的好大姐、好主席。”1984年10月,杨安琦任盐城市侨联主席,在这个岗位上,她已工作了16个年头。她在平凡的岗位上,苦干实干,把爱心献给广大归侨侨眷和侨胞。盐城市归侨侨眷人数不是很多。为了维护归侨侨眷合法权益,杨安琦多次邀请省、市侨办领导在全市有关会议上宣讲党和国家的侨务政策。1997年在市人大、政协“两会”期间,她递交了《把党的侨务政策落到实处》的提案和建议,受到政府部门的重视和支持。经她多次提议,1998年市政府下发了《关于处理归侨侨眷有
