橡胶籽油除供食用和制造肥皂外,其油麸是养猪的精饲料,蛋白质含量较高,猪喜欢吃、肯长、催膘。1964年开始我所历年来都以它为养猪主要精饲料之一。 橡胶种籽除油和油麸外还有46％左右的种籽壳,过去都是把它烧掉作肥料或者白白地丢掉。1976年8月我们把它粉碎喂猪,到目前为止已喂橡胶籽壳10万多斤。为了搞好橡胶籽的综合利用,广泛开辟饲料来源,为国营农场的生猪生产服务,我们从1977年6月开始以橡胶籽壳喂猪,以探索它对猪的体重增长、生理机能的影响,现将试验情况初报如下:
