90年代计算技术最引人注目的进展之一就是计算环境从集中走向分布。如今企业计算的分布性、可扩展性和异构性等要求使Client/Server结构在大型企业和机构的分布式计算应用方面遇到了新的挑战。与此同时 ,分布对象技术和软构件技术的发展 ,各软件生产商和研究机构纷纷推出各自的解决方案 ,如ActiveX/DCOM、JAVA/RMI和CORBA标准。文章首先回顾了网络计算模式的演变历程 ,然后介绍了网络计算模式的发展动向。
One of the most dramatic advances in computing technology in the 1990s was the shift from centralized computing to distributed computing. Today’s business computing requirements such as distribution, scalability, and heterogeneity make the Client / Server architecture new challenges for distributed computing applications in large enterprises and organizations. At the same time, distributed object technology and software component technology development, software manufacturers and research institutes have introduced their own solutions, such as ActiveX / DCOM, JAVA / RMI and CORBA standards. The article first reviews the evolution of network computing model, and then introduces the development trend of network computing model.
