LTE技术是新一代宽带无线移动通信网技术,可大幅提升无线网络业务速率,并采用统一的分组域核心网承载话音和数据业务,而IP网络承载语音等实时业务的质量保证是业界关注的问题。3GPP标准的PCC架构可有效实现LTE网络数据业务差异化的管理和运营,并提供业务端到端的质量保证,是LTE网络中实现语音业务等实时业务的关键。本文对PCC架构以及控制机制进行简要介绍,并结合LTE和PCC技术的发展情况,对PCC在LTE网络中的应用及引入方式进行探讨。
LTE technology is a new generation of broadband wireless mobile communication network technology, which can substantially increase the service speed of wireless networks and use a unified packet-based core network to carry voice and data services. The quality assurance of real-time services such as voice over IP networks is a concern in the industry . The 3GPP standard PCC architecture can effectively manage and operate the data services of the LTE network in a differentiated manner and provide end-to-end quality assurance of services. It is the key to implementing real-time services such as voice services in the LTE network. This article briefly introduces the PCC architecture and its control mechanism, and discusses the application and introduction of PCC in LTE networks based on the development of LTE and PCC technologies.
