一般地,公路隧道内行车道两侧并不设置护栏,两侧检修道的设置高度在设计速度为80km/h时采用30~40cm。怎样将作为交通安全设施的护栏和作为检修道(或人行道)的步道结合在一起,值得去尝试。以云南省保腾高速公路勐连隧道为工程背景,对隧道内设置防撞护墙做了详细论述:对护墙设置依据做简单说明;确定防撞护墙设置型式后拟定隧道建筑限界及内轮廓,并确定支护结构设计参数;对防撞护墙的断面、配筋、锚固,分段、设缝,以及车通口和进出口过渡段等部分的设计做了详细叙述;最后对防撞护墙设置的效果进行分析并得出结论。作为一种实践,防撞护墙的设置既能满足体现检修道基本功能的要求,同时完全符合其作为一种交通安全设施所应具备的基本性能,是一种能与隧道较好结合的构筑物。
