Since May 1992, the Shanghai Sanitary and Quarantine Bureau has detected 17,378 immigrants and 17 people, of whom 10 were positive, using the SimpliRED HIV-1 antibody test (hereinafter referred to as Simpli RED) Eight people were confirmed by Western blotting (hereinafter referred to as WB), and the results are reported as follows:
